Today I want to talk to you about link setup. Today I see all these new sites and they try to do different things with their links in order to show how advanced their site is, and frankly not only is it pesky but to many visitors they will not be able to find what they're looking for and so they leave, and in case your new to making money customers are a good thing.

The most common thing I see is the drop down menu, ok I admit it makes the site look better without all the links cluttering it, but many people, believe it or not, don't know that they've to put their mouse over the button or click it to display the drop down portion. People are idiots so you've to appeal to them in that way.

For example we've all seen the sites that are just longer than life, there is like a million and one links on in, every other sentence is highlighted and the text goes on forever with an order now button at the bottom. Now as marketers, or just intelligent people, we see that and think it looks terrible and can't find out why anyone would buy anything from them. I hate to tell you that these sites do better at producing profit than any other type of site on the net.

I know that it's pathetic to think that, but it's true, people are that dumb. However, since people are that dumb it makes selling them things that much easier. All you've to do is present them with a product and hype it up like there is no possible way they could live without it. To make things even easier to make money online, studies have shown that ninety percent of people are impulse buyers. That means that if you hype your product up enough they'll buy it without even thinking about it. So in order to make your site appeal to more people show all the links on one side or the other, make them think there is a lot of options, then they'll think that if you've this much information on it, it must be worth having and buy it, and to rehash from earlier, customers are a good thing.
